Preparation for surgery

As part of the preparation for the surgical procedure, the patient is REQUIRED to bring:

ORIGINAL Consent of the FBiH Health Insurance Institute, Brčko District Decision or RS Decision
ORIGINAL referral from your doctor
All medical documentation collected until then related to the reason for arrival
Laboratory findings: KKS, SE, ŠUK, Coagulation status, Creatinine, Urea, K+, Na+, Ca, Mg, CK, CKMB, Troponin, Urine, X-ray-pulmo + Spirometry (not older than one month), Kg and Rh factor.
If the patient is taking therapy for the thyroid gland, bring the latest hormone status report and a doctor’s report, not older than 3 months.
If there have been neurological episodes, the last report of a neurologist is also required.
Findings of dental plaque if it is a valve operation
Patients using ANTICOAGULANT therapy (MARIVARIN, FARIN, PELENTAN, MARCOUMAR, or SINTROM) must stop taking this drug at least five days before surgery.

Five days before the scheduled appointment (of which you will be notified), stop taking Plavix, Zillit, Clodil or Clopidogrel.

Provide 4 (four) blood donors of your blood group.

Take only personal hygiene items, slippers and two liters of juice with you.
