Full professor at the Faculty of Medicine. It sets standards and follows the latest technological developments in radiology, knowing everything about the present and future development of CT, MRI, DSA technology. One of the pioneers of Interventional Radiology in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Head of the Department of Radiology at the Medical Institute Bayer Tuzla.
Haris Huseinagić was born on May 28, 1963. He obtained his Master of Medical Sciences degree in 2005 on the subject of Doppler ultrasonography and digital subtraction arteriography in the diagnosis of carotid artery disease, and he obtained the title of PhD (Doctor of Medical Sciences) in 2008 on the subject of “Validity of computed tomographic angiography in the diagnosis of cerebral vascular disease”. He is currently employed as the Head of the Department of Radiology, in the “Medical Institute Bayer Special Hospital” Tuzla.
The essential nature of my profession is excellent knowledge of the latest technological achievements in radiology, knowing everything about the present and future development of CT, MRI, DSA technology.
My competences include participation in various courses outside the purely medical field. (FER, Zagreb, MR courses)
Three years ago, I successfully implemented a complete, fully functional PACS, RIS within the University Clinical Center Tuzla. I am proficient with all programs of the Microsoft Office system, Adobe packages, HTML, Mac OS systems and programs.
I am a member of the federal Commission for passing the specialist exam in radiology, and a large number of commissions for the defense of master’s theses. I am a member of the Association of Radiologists of Bosnia and Herzegovina, working bodies of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), European Associations of Interventional Radiology, ESUR, Association of Radiologists of Scandinavia.
Intercultural skills: I have experience working in the international dimension, especially in the Middle and Far East, working with refugees, victims of war, workers…
