Interventional cardiology is one of the cornerstones of our home in the diagnosis and treatment of coronary heart disease through coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary intervention, ie. coronary artery stenting. We perform the most complex interventional procedures such as treatment of bifurcation lesions, chronic total occlusions and diffuse coronary disease. We are one of the first centers to introduce the routine treatment of acute heart attack in the system 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Electrophysiological testing and radiofrequency ablation are the basis of modern diagnostics and treatment of heart rhythm disorders. With state-of-the-art equipment and highly trained medical staff, we provide the most sophisticated services in this field. This segment of the cardiology department includes the implantation of pacemakers, defibrillators, as well as the implantation of cardiac resynchronization apparatus.
Our focus is also on minimally invasive methods such as percutaneous transluminal angioplasia, which endovascular, ie. non-surgically treat stenoses and occlusions of the peripheral arteries, the most common of which are lower extremity arteries, renal arteries, neck arteries and upper extremities.
