With the introduction of laparoscopy and laser surgery, we are monitoring the modern world trends in medicine and shortening hospital treatment time. The one-stop-shop concept implies that in a very short time we can offer diagnostic and laboratory treatment as well as pre-operative preparation with anesthesia and internist examination, which greatly shortens the time from diagnosis to surgical treatment.
The concept of day surgery allows for minor surgery under local or regional anesthesia, after which we discharge patients home the same day.
